RESCUING FOOD
FIGHTING HUNGER

Liberation Larder has a simple mission.

We rescue food from becoming waste.

We prepare food for people who need it.

We serve over 600 delicious meals per week from the Byron Bay Community Centre kitchen.

You can find us there on Mondays and Thursdays from 7 am to 2 pm.

Liberation larder is a registered charity, run by volunteers.

DONATE MONEY

Liberation Larder is volunteer led and operated,  but we still need cash to cover our operating expenses, including buying food staples.  Every donation is used directly for our mission.

OUR STORY

Since 2009, Liberation Larder has impacted the lives of thousands of people and our whole community.

Reducing waste and providing nourishment and support to our community's most vulnerable people, creates a better future for all.

OUR WORK

Every Australian deserves access to delicious, nutritious meals.  Food insecurity, fuelled by housing insecurity and the rising cost of living, is a growing issue in Byron Bay.

Liberation Larder's services are essential for our clients.

Fighting food insecurity with volunteers and donated food keeps Liberation Larder one of the lowest cost services of its kind!
